A Friend By Any Other Name

A Friend By Any Other Name is a picture book about the universal concept of friendship, with lots of food and other fun thrown in. It follows two young friends on their journey through eight different countries, as they learn to say and write the word friend in each place. It will be published in Fall 2010 by Putti Press, as part of their debut collection of four multicultural books.

I will be posting updates about the book on this page, including illustrations when possible. If you'd like to be notified when the book is available in stores, please email friend@laralakshmi.com.
